Round Top Report

I've been meaning to write this post for awhile, but things have been busy! Several of our projects are moving along at a rapid pace, so I'm excited that I'll get to share those with you soon. Also, stay tuned for a big announcement I'll be sharing within the next couple of days!

I organized a short and sweet trip to Round Top a couple of weeks ago for their bi-annual Round Top Antiques Fair, which has somehow become one of the largest fairs in the country. I've been going for years and years (and years!), and while the prices have gotten higher and higher, the deals are still relatively good and the variety of vendors has really improved from the earlier shabby chic domination.

If you know me, you know I am textile OBSESSED, and this year there were lots of exciting textile vendors at Round Top. Here are a few photos of some of my favorites (click the image to go through the gallery!):

The big furniture winners of the day were these beaded (!) chairs from Africa:

And this GORGEOUS, mint condition, original Lucite and glass dining table for only $1800!

As always, there were lots of fun decorative items and kitsch a-plenty!
